Austral Drilling are currently seeking experienced drillers and offsiders. Candidates must be team focused and have a strong work ethic and commitment to Health & Safety. Our Rosters consist of 2 weeks on and 1 week off.
DRILLING OFFSIDERS
About the Role:
Conducting daily pre-start equipment checks
Assisting with routine maintenance
Assisting with mixing drilling mud’s/ fluids/ chemicals/ cement
Assisting with loading and unloading heavy vehicles
Maintaining a clean and a hazard free work environment
Setting up/ dismantling/ moving drill rigs and equipment
Cleaning drill rigs, vehicles, equipment and tools
Assist to set up/ dismantle/ move rigs and associated equipment
Conducting and completing necessary safety paperwork and processes
Requirements
Current Australian HR Drivers Licence
Current Forklift Licence an advantage
National Police Clearance
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug test
First Aid Certificate
Safey focused
A resident of WA as flights are only provided from Perth.
Prior drilling and mining experience is not essential but preferred

Previous Waterwell Drilling experience
Conduct Drilling Operations
Conducting Daily pre-start equipment checks
Training Driller Assistants and providing ongoing mentoring
Rig Maintenance
Setting up / moving drill rigs and equipment
Conducting and completing necessary safety paperwork and processes
Key Requirements
Experience working in a similar position in the Drilling Industry
Mud Rotary / Hammer
Current HR Class Drivers Licence
Waterwell Drillers Licence (Class 1, 2 or 3)
Forklift Licence
Dogman Ticket
Cert II or III Drilling Operations
CV Crane Ticket (preferable)
National Police Clearance, or have one lodged
First Aid and CPR certificate, or be willing to obtain
Demonstrated personal commitment to safety
